In 1924, Sigma Chapter became the seventh chapter of Theta Tau, the first and foremost engineering fraternity in the country. Throughout the years, over 1,000 members have been initiated into this truly unique brotherhood. Every brother learns and lives out the core principles of brotherhood, professional development, and service.
The purpose of Theta Tau is to develop and maintain a high standard of professional interest among its members, and to unite them in a strong bond of fraternal fellowship.

For the betterment of our members' personal growth, as well as our communities' benefits, we're involved in projects that give back to the communities around us. Serving alongside brothers establishes strong bonds and guarantees a truly meaningful college experience.
We develop and nurture engineers with strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills that we demonstrate in our profession, our community, and in our lives. Our thousands of accomplished alumni aid us in our professional endeavors.
